Successful at "Gründerwettbewerb" and "Businessplan-Wettbewerb"

On September 1, 2017 FBH's spin-off project BeamXpert was again honored at "Gründerwettbewerb – Digitale Innovationen" (Founder Competition - Digital Innovations). The Founder Competition, sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, is organized twice per year. 293 founder teams with 723 founders participated in the first round of the competition. Six teams won the grand prize endowed with € 32,000 each, one team was distinguished with the "FinTech" spezial price endowed with € 10,000, and 13 further teams - among which is BeamXpert - received prizes of € 7,000 per team.

 

 

This is already the second award for the two founders Dr. Bernd Eppich and Dr. Guido Mann following their successful second place result in the final round of "Businessplan-Wettbewerb 2017" (Business Plan Competition 2017).

 

 

 

In the period from 01.03.2017 to 28.02.2018, the foundation was prepared within the framework of the EXIST Business Start-up Grant under the working title "DOBSY - Designer for Optical Beam Systems". The founders and BeamXpert GmbH received further support from Leibniz Transfer of the Leibniz Association.
